Sponsorship is used for maintenance, growth and own initiatives of the FLAG-organization.
Sponsoring
"To sponsor something is to support an event, activity, person, or organization financially or through the provision of products or services. [...] Sponsorship may be an arrangement to exchange advertising for the responsibility of funding a popular event or entity." Source: Wikipedia.
The advantages of sponsorship: Advertising costs are fully deductable as corporate expenses, provided that the donation served the interests of the company. If this is not the case, it is a 'normal' donation.
