Background
I can tell a lot about myself but on this page I limit myself to what led to the creation of FLAG. I was born on August 14th 1974 in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. From there I jump to September 14, 2003.
On that day my consciousness expands to a dimension that goes beyond my imagination at that time. I remember this eternal timeless and space less moment if it was yesterday. It brought me profound inner peace. Since then everything is different, not necessarily better. Now I am much more aware of myself and my surroundings, everything is more real. I follow my heart now more than ever.

I was standing in my garden when it happened. At that moment I wasn't under the influence of something or someone. It was an extraordinary 'enlightening' experience of unity. I have never experienced something like that again. Afterwards it is difficult for me to give words to it, actually I think that's impossible. Though I keep trying, because it was crucial for who I am today, where I am now and what I am doing now. In that one clear moment I overlooked, like I was watching a movie, the past, the present and the future. I had the intelligence at that time to comprehend everything from start to finish. It is similar to what people experience who have had a beyond-death experience, so I discovered later when I talked to Pim van Lommel. This Dutch cardiologist did years of research into near-death experiences with patients who had survived a cardiac arrest. In my case I was not suffered a cardiac arrest. It happened spontaneously.

This overwhelming event evoked the longing for world peace in me. I believe that world peace is a new era, that starts when all people on earth follow their hearts. For Love And Grow, abbreviated FLAG, is created out of this longing. The name came into my consciousness on September 16, 2004.
A day later I registered FLAG at the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam.
